The ninth of September was fell on a Saturday. On this day, volunteers were setting up for the dance. Fall Fest was advertised by the student council to the whole school. They made an announcement throughout the week prior of the dance promising cupcake decorating, refreshments, and a photo booth. Students were told that they would be split by grade level into two time groups with sixth, seventh, and eighth grades dancing from seven o’clock to nine o’clock and all the freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors attending from eight o’clock to ten o’clock.

Many students of all the grades came to the dance. They were greeted as they entered the gymnasium to the sound of loud music. DJ Harris stood at the sound board and played all the greatest party songs. Many students participated in cupcake making and danced throughout the event. All sixth, seventh, and eighth graders went to their respective homerooms for carpool. The high schoolers stayed at school for an hour after the middle schoolers left. Many students took home commemorative photos from the photo booth and many more with their phones that were later posted to social media.
