First Lego League is a competitive club where you build different creations based on the theme of the season. The events are large, and the number of participants exceeds 255,000 people. There is also team competition including over 32,000 teams and 1464 events worldwide. Lego League focuses on trying to solve real-world problems through Lego challenges. There is robot building using Lego Mindstorms to develop the build projects. The learned values are the most important thing to the organization. They encourage teamwork, ingenuity, learning, friendliness, discovery, and more. First Lego League applies science, critical thinking, and presentation skills. It is a friendly competition between teams from all over the country.  Some examples of themes include food safety, recycling, and energy conservation. Lego League requires all of STEM with some creativity and other skills. First Lego league inspires many young minds to create a better future for generations to come and for the world around them.
