Chorus/Performing Arts(PA) is a fun elective for all grade levels. Last year, the 7th grade chorus/PA went to MPA, or Music Performance Adjudication. At MPA, the current 8th graders scored a superior for both their signing and sight reading. This was the highest ranking possible.

Last year was also the first year of performing arts. The current 7th, graders performed “Through the Looking Glass,” and some of the current 8th graders performed, “The Real Story of Little Red Riding Hood.” All of this success could not have been done without Ms. Owens.

Ms. Owens spends her time making sure the group is working to the best of their ability, and she does everything she can to help with anything needed. She always comes up with new and more clever ways to make the class into a better team. Chorus started out with only one person and now there are more than 20 students in each middle school class and three students in high school.
